Passion. Create. Inspire

Who are we?
Elevate Dance Academy is a contemporary dance company based in West Berkshire. We specialise in providing a platform for young dancers, developing their natural talent, nurturing their passion, and presenting professional quality works in a number of different environments.
EDA has been running since 2009, and combines almost 20 years of dancing and teaching experience into open contemporary classes, graded contemporary classes and adult dance classes.
We are very excited to have recently introduced yoga classes to our class lists. We now teach weekly Hatha and Chair yoga. Please get in touch to find out more about what we offer.

Who We Are
A Family of Artists - with Passion for Dance
Kate Kearns
Artistic Director
"I am passionate about dance and firmly believe that there is a dancer in everyone. I love working with young dancers and nurturing their talent. The success of EEDC ans now EDA over the last 12 years is inspiring and I can't wait to see where we go next!"
Since 2018 I have been a member of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD). We introduced the Contemporary dance syllabus to our repertoire of classes in January 2019. Our first exams in December 2019 were hugely successful and we look forward to more success with the NATD.

Emma Hill
Guest Choreographer
"I love the impact the arts can have on audiences and communities. Whether it's for fitness or performance, I think dance is so diverse, there is something for everyone. Teaching youth dance allows me to help dancers discover their interests and strengths while sharing creative ideas."
